365 Days with Nest.

Meet the next generation thermostat.

Most people leave the house at one temperature and forget to change it. So Nest learns your schedule, programs itself and can be controlled from your phone. Teach it well and Nest can lower your heating and cooling bills up to 20%.

First, installation.

If you’re comfortable installing a light fixture, you can install Nest yourself. Three out of four people install Nest in 30 minutes or less.

You can also buy our Nest Concierge installation service from nest.com or call 855‑4MY‑NEST for more info.

Get to know each other.

First, answer a few basic questions. After that, Nest will optimize itself for your system and start learning from your temperature changes.

Day 8
Day 12
Nest turns on, it knows you like waking up at 73°. Nest senses an empty house and lowers the temperature. Using Early-On, Nest already warmed up the house. You adjust the thermostat to 71°. Nest takes note. It’s almost bedtime. Nest follows its schedule and cools the house down to 68°.

Nest knows you.

By now, Nest has made a schedule for your home that’s helping you save energy. Change the temperature a few days in a row and Nest will catch on, but one-off adjustments won’t confuse it.

Want to refine your schedule? You can edit it in seconds on Nest or remotely using your Nest account.

How Nest learned your schedule

After a week you’ll have a personalized schedule.
