Bio
Tony led the team that created the first 18 generations of the iPod and the first three generations of the iPhone. Before Apple, Tony built the Mobile Computing Group at Philips Electronics. Tony has authored more than 300 patents. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering.

Matt was responsible for iPod software development at Apple, from concept to production. He is passionate about mobile products, loves team building and rapid productization. Matt earned his BS and MS degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.

Shige has more than 20 years of consumer electronics design, development, and execution experience on more than a dozen mobile phones and other products. Prior to Nest, Shige was the lead engineering program manager at Apple for several early generations of iPhone from concept to ramp. He received his BS in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Bio
Chip spent 10 years as Apple’s associate general counsel for intellectual property, securing and protecting Apple’s innovations during the iPod-iPhone-iPad decade. He’s also worked at Sun Microsystems and for the current Chief Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He has a law degree from Columbia University and a BS in electrical engineering from Rice University.

Yoky served as the Head of Innovation at Google and Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington before joining Nest. She graduated from UC Berkeley and earned an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. She received the MacArthur Genius Award for her work in robotics and neuroscience.

Doug has more than 20 years of experience leading marketing for iconic, global brands like Levi's, adidas and General Motors EV1. He was VP of Global Marketing for Levi's and architect of the Go Forth campaign in which he was selected by Advertising Age as one of the Top 50 Innovative Marketers today. Doug graduated with a BS from Syracuse University.
