There’s no place like a Nest home.

How it works

  • Start with Nest.

All you need is a Nest Thermostat, Nest Protect or Nest Cam. Add another product, like a light bulb, and they’ll start to notice each other, learn from one another, and help you out – all on their own.

  • Simple, secure setup.

Sign into your light bulb app, tell it to connect to Nest, then verify your Nest Account. It’s private, secure, and you’re always in control. Learn more >

  • It just works.

You don’t have to be a tech geek to get things working. Once you connect a product to Nest, it automatically starts doing things for you, without you having to program it.

  • Loads of energy savings.

If you’re signed up for Rush Hour Rewards with a participating energy provider, Nest can let Whirlpool know when an energy rush hour is about to happen, and your washer or dryer will delay the start of the cycle until the rush hour is over. See how it works >

  • Alexa, keep me cozy.

Just say “Alexa, set my bedroom thermostat to 68º” and your Amazon Echo or Fire TV can tell the Nest Thermostat to change the temperature. See how it works >

  • Shades that move to keep you comfortable.

When your Nest Thermostat senses you’re away, it can tell your Hunter Douglas shades to move as the sun does and let in more or less heat depending on the season. So your home stays comfortable, helping you save energy and money all year long. See how it works >

  • Your garage knows when you’re home. Or Away.

Open the garage when you arrive, and Chamberlain can tell Nest you’re home. Close it on your way out, and your thermostat can go into Away mode so you don’t waste energy heating or cooling an empty home. See how it works >

  • Your lights can look out for you.

When Nest Cam senses motion when you’re away, your Philips Hue lights can turn on and off as if you’re home. See how it works >

  • Give every room the right amount of comfort.

Now you can heat and cool your home room by room. The Keen Home Smart Vent uses your Nest Thermostat's settings to control and balance the temperature in your home. Even when you’re away. See how it works >
